Baltimore Ravens future Hall of Fame kicker Justin Tucker has been struggling this season, missing two field goals and an extra point in yesterday’s loss, and many are calling for him to retire and for the Ravens to move on before it gets worse. Dan Beyer & Monse Bolaños, in for Doug Gottlieb today, think Tucker still has plenty left in the tank and the Ravens would be foolish to release him.
Dan Beyer: “Even though he’s been bad this season, it’s their advantage of Justin Tucker has now been negated...When you have a great field goal kicker, it can give you a lot of advantages that other teams have. The Ravens no longer have that advantage but there’s no reason to get rid of Justin Tucker.”
Monse Bolaños: “Don’t get rid of Justin Tucker because I truly don’t think he’s broken. I think he’s in a slump.”
