Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Christen Harper Goff, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Romy Isabelle Goff, on Tuesday (July 15).
Goff and Harper, who were recently featured in the Netflix docuseries Quarterback, shared a joint Instagram post with black and white photos of their newborn daughter. Harper revealed that she was expecting her first child while visibly pregnant on the red carpet of the 2025 NFL Honors event, when Goff finished as a finalist for the 2024 Associated Press NFL MVP Award, in New Orleans.
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit also shared a video of Harper cradling her bump during an earlier photoshoot for its 2025 issue in Jamaica at the time of her reveal.
Harper also announced that she did her last photo shoot prior to her daughter's arrival last month.
“Just waiting for our girl,” she wrote at the time.
Goff and Harper wed during a California ceremony in June, two years after he proposed during a trip to Mexico. The model said she and the NFL quarterback first connected on the Raya dating app in 2019, when he was playing for the Los Angeles Rams.
Goff was traded by the Rams to the Lions in 2021, where he has since had a career renaissance, leading the team to two consecutive playoff berths, which included Detroit's first playoff victory in 32 years during the NFC Wild Card Round in January 2024.
