(Indianapolis, IN) - The college basketball national championship is the difference between a little sports betting in Indiana and a lot.
The Indiana Gaming Commission's latest report shows bettors placed $317 million in wagers last month.
That's compared to $75 million in March of last year when there was no NCAA tournament. That's a 323-percent increase.
The Gaming Commission says all that action is worth $2.5 million to the state.
