(New Rochelle, NY) - Rick Pitino is returning to college basketball. The two-time national champion has been hired to coach at Iona College.
Athletic Director Matthew Glovaski praised Pitino's "passion and energy" in a statement announcing the hire. Pitino added, "My passion in basketball started in New York and will end there at Iona College."
Pitino's time in Louisville ended in 2017.
